Corporate Team Building & Volunteering
Partner with Habitat for Humanity to turn your team’s volunteer day into lasting impact for families in Springfield.

Team Building That Strengthens Your Company
Your employees want to work for companies invested in their communities. A volunteer day with Habitat delivers more than good PR — it builds trust, strengthens collaboration, and gives your team shared purpose outside the office. You’ll see the impact in retention, morale, and culture. We handle the logistics, provide tools and training, and create an experience your team will remember long after they return to the office.
Measurable Impact in Your Backyard
When your team volunteers with Habitat, the results are tangible.
Families move into homes they can afford. Neighborhoods gain stability. Communities grow stronger. Your company’s contribution goes beyond the volunteer hours — it becomes part of the solution to the affordable housing crisis in Springfield. We’ll help you document and report your CSR impact with data you can share with stakeholders, employees, and the community.

Partnership Opportunities
Choose the partnership model that fits your company’s goals.

Signature Partnerships
Year-round engagement combining volunteer days, financial support, and co-branded community impact. Signature partners receive dedicated project days, recognition opportunities, and measurable CSR outcomes tailored to your company’s priorities.

Team Building Day
Bring your team to a construction site or home repair project for a hands-on volunteer experience. We coordinate dedicated project days for groups of 5 to 50+ employees, provide all tools and training, and ensure your team sees tangible progress by the end of the day.

Sponsor An Event
Support our fundraising galas, community build events, and awareness campaigns with financial sponsorship. Event sponsors receive brand visibility, employee engagement opportunities, and recognition in front of donors, volunteers, and community leaders.
Thank You to Our Community Partners
Thank you to our partners who invest in affordable housing through volunteer service and financial support.

We’ve done team-building events at escape rooms, ropes courses, and bowling alleys. None of them stuck with our team the way the Habitat build day did. Six months later, people still talk about the family we built with.

Questions About Group Volunteering?
We define a group as five or more people. Our typical corporate volunteer teams range from 10 to 30 people, but we can accommodate groups as large as 50+ with advance planning. Smaller groups (5-10 people) work well for home repair projects, while larger groups thrive on new construction sites where there’s space for multiple tasks happening simultaneously. Contact us to discuss your team size and we’ll match you to the right project
We recommend booking at least four to six weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and project type. However, we understand corporate schedules can shift quickly — contact us even if you’re working on a shorter timeline and we’ll do our best to accommodate your team. Popular times (spring and fall, weekday mornings) fill up fastest, so early planning helps guarantee availability.
Most corporate build days run from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Your team will start with a brief orientation covering safety protocols and the day’s project goals. From there, you’ll work alongside our crew leaders and future homeowners on tasks like framing walls, installing siding, painting, landscaping, or interior finishing work. We provide all tools, hard hats, and safety equipment. Your team should bring work gloves, a reusable water bottle, and lunch. No construction experience is required — we train as we go.
Absolutely. We encourage teams to wear matching company shirts or colors — it builds team identity and makes for great photos. You’re also welcome to bring a company banner for group photos at the end of the day. We’ll coordinate a team photo opportunity and can provide high-resolution images for your internal communications or social media. Many corporate partners use these photos in annual CSR reports or employee newsletters.
After your volunteer day, we’ll provide a summary of your team’s contribution: hours volunteered, tasks completed, and how your work fits into the larger project timeline. For Signature Partners or companies with ongoing engagement, we can provide more detailed impact reporting including the number of families served, homes built or repaired, and community-level outcomes tied to your company’s support. We’re happy to work with your CSR or communications team to ensure you have the data you need for internal and external reporting.
We understand that corporate schedules and weather can be unpredictable. If your team needs to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least one week’s notice when possible. For weather-related cancellations, we’ll make the call by 7:00 AM on the day of your scheduled volunteer shift and work with you to reschedule. Construction work happens rain or shine in most conditions, but we pause work during severe weather, extreme heat, or unsafe site conditions.
